Our Mission
PROJECT HALO Environmental Defense
Our mission at PROJECT HALO is to provide environmental defense and to reduce pollution through detection and reporting of fire initiation in less than 30 seconds.
Just imagine how many lives and environmental costs could have been saved if PROJECT HALO was already fully operational. The effects of wildfires are staggering:

- As of 31 December 2023, a total of 7,127 fires were recorded, totaling approximately 362,403 acres (324,917 hectares) across the State of California alone! Wildlife impacts are incalculable.
- Canadian wildfire environmental devastation and pollution keeps mounting. These fires may burn for years.
- Wildlife, environmental devastation/pollution from European fires is staggering.
- Maui environmental devastation and increased pollution is horrific. Sadly, wildfire deaths in Maui were near 100.
- Wildfires in Africa burn more acreage than any other country each year.
- The recent Texas wildfire damage will last generations.
The Incomprehensible Facts
The LARGEST pollution impact in the US in 2023, and almost every year, is from fires! That's right, an estimated 50% of pollution in the west is from wildfires. Moreover, it has been reported that western fires provide a "sunscreen" effect to solar power, which is estimated to be up to 15% on the east coast.
Our governments are simply not set up to do environmental defense or identify and put out fires while they are small. We have attempted to rectify this many times but have been continuously faced with bureaucracy, needless red tape, and the egos of decision makers.
The impact of these worldwide disasters on the lives of individual children and citizens is incalculable.

A Serious Question
What if a foreign land inflicted $20-200+ billion dollars a year of devastation to our country as wildfires? Would our country have a different response?
Currently, the response has been a significant disappointment, but we aim to change that. PROJECT HALO offers a solution that will drastically reduce costs, lower pollution, and protect life.
By being an autonomous registered 501(c)(3) organization, PROJECT HALO can operate free of government intrusions and not be reliant upon public funding. Current approaches by philanthropic foundations are commendable in their efforts to address fire-related issues. However, their plans involve deploying hundreds of satellites and tackling complex data transfer and reporting challenges. In contrast, by the time they manage to present a limited demo, we could already be operational, assisting in saving lives and protecting the environment. We invite these foundations to consider refocusing their efforts and joining our solution.
Now is the time to support the PROJECT HALO mission and provide us with the opportunity to start protecting our planet's dwindling natural resources, as well as the lives of people and wildlife. Let's talk!
